Two New Business Now Open in Downtown DeFuniak Springs

DeFuniak Springs, Florida • November 3, 2022 — Main Street DeFuniak Springs announced today two new businesses that have opened their doors in historic downtown DeFuniak Springs. Both Embers Bistro and Tina Smith Photography Studio & Boutique are now open for business on the 700 block of Baldwin Avenue in the Main Street DeFuniak Springs District.
Embers Bistro is a family owned and operated new-age bistro producing handmade pizza, breads, weekly specials, and desserts using traditional techniques. Guests can also enjoy artfully crafted cocktails and the largest draft and craft beer selection in DeFuniak Springs. The evolving menu is curated to spotlight ingredients from local farms and markets around the Florida Panhandle as well as products sourced from throughout the United States when unavailable locally. Their slogan “We feed our community so we can feed our community,” demonstrates their commitment to their community, local schools, and charitable organizations. Having served the community with her professional photography services since 2003, Tina Smith identified an unmet need for quality children’s clothing in our area. The new brick and mortar location combines her two passions – photography and children’s fashion. Specializing in newborns and children, the studio offers a variety of photography services for families and children of all ages. Additionally, bookings are available for onsite shoots around town, at the beach and local parks. The boutique offers the latest fashion styles in children’s boutique clothing for newborn through children’s size 12 for both boys and girls.
