Main Street DeFuniak Springs, in partnership with BancorpSouth Bank, continue their Small Business Seminar Series with industry experts Florida SBDC at UWF.
The seminar, focused on “Funding Your Business: Start-Up & Growth”, will begin at 8AM on February 23 inside the Florida Chautauqua Theatre, located at 840 Baldwin Ave, Defuniak Springs, FL 32435.
Lack of capital is a top reason small businesses fail or choose not to grow! Join us as Terry Mauer, Assistant Director of the Florida Small Business Development Center, discusses sources of funding for your small business. Topics include guidance on what financial institutions consider when assessing a loan application, what tasks you need to complete before going to a bank to obtain funding, and alternatives to traditional lending. Patricia Parker, Vice President and Relationship Manager for Bancorp South will discuss available bank loans the details surrounding SBA loans.
