Main Street DeFuniak Springs will host its annual holiday events, Merry Main Street, presented in partnership with Authentic Walton. Beginning Saturday, November 29, 2025 – Saturday, December 20, 2025, the free events will include live music and performances, the weekly outdoor Mistletoe Market, Festive Food Truck Friday, a holiday golf cart parade, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, snow machines, and more family fun – all taking place in historic downtown DeFuniak Springs.
Fittingly, Merry Main Street will begin on November 29, 2025, in celebration of Small Business Saturday, an annual holiday shopping tradition — just one part of the larger Shop Small Movement that supports small businesses every day and everywhere. For the support of its community and putting small businesses first, Main Street DeFuniak Springs has been designated a Neighborhood Champion by American Express.
The weekly Mistletoe Market will take place November 29, December 6, December 13, and December 20 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Taking place on Baldwin Avenue between S. 7th and S. 8th St., the market will showcase gift ideas, delicious treats, and unique finds catered to the holiday season. Beginning Saturday, November 29th Main Street kicks off holiday activities with Small Business Saturday (merchant hours vary) leading into Mistletoe Market from 3 – 8 PM. Santa will arrive at 3:00 PM for pictures and will depart at 5:00 PM. Snow will run at the top of the hour, every hour throughout the market.
December 5th hosts Festive Food Truck Friday from 5 – 9 PM. Our first annual, Holiday Golf Cart Parade will take place at 7 PM (using the Tractor Parade route) and travel through Food Truck Friday.
December 6th: Mistletoe Market 3-8PM, Santa and Mrs. Claus 3-5 PM, snow at the top of the hour.
December 12th: Festive Food Truck Friday 5-9PM
December 13th: Mistletoe Market 3-8PM, Santa and Mrs. Claus 3-5 PM, snow at the top of the hour.
December 19th: Festive Food Truck Friday 5-9PM
December 20th: Mistletoe Market 3-8 PM, Santa and Mrs. Claus 3-5 PM. snow at the top of the hour.
Taking place in tandem with the City of DeFuniak Springs light show around Lake DeFuniak, Christmas Reflections, Merry Main Street events spotlight the historic downtown business district and locally owned and operated businesses.
